Blu Cigarettes Pack Battery Problems

blu cigarettesLast week Blu Cigarettes alerted its customers of a important problem with the Blu Pack battery.  The battery in the Blu Pack has the potential to overcharge and rupture.  You should stop using the Blu Pack immediately.  More info here

Thankfully you can still charge and smoke your Blu Cigarettes using the wall or usb charger.  The actual Blu Cigarettes are free from battery problems and can still be smoked.  You just need to charge them with the included wall and usb chargers.

Most importantly Blu Cigarettes has worked with the manufacturer and implemented changes to the Blu Pack design that will eliminate the risk of over charging.  Blu Cigarettes should receive the new Blu Packs in 4-6 weeks and will ship and replace your old Blu Pack at no expence if you already purchased Blu Cigarettes.

  1. JUST PURCHASE PREMIUM STARTER PACK. AFTER CHARGING BATTERIES AND CONNECTING TO FLAVOR PACK I NOTICED BOTH BATTERY AND MOUTH PIECE WERE VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH. THIS DOES NOT SEEM NORMAL COULD THIS BE ONE OF THE OVERCHARGING UNITS?

  2. I bought the blu pack about three weeks ago. last week one of the batteries got stuck in the pack, it took my strong husband to release it. Have not used the pack ever since. my batteries are worn out. where can I buy the batteries? Zip 42001.

  3. Okay, so I received a brand new “Blu Cig” startup pack from Walgreens as a Christmas gift this year and within 5 days of use, one of the batteries simply stopped working. The blue light stayed lit and would not expel any vapor. The light stayed lit until the battery completely diminished, and then no activity at all even after attempting to recharge. A week later the second battery did the same thing. Now I followed the instructions very carefully and used it exactly how it was intended. I was simply taking a drag and the next drag I took there was nothing and the light was on and wouldn’t shut off. This is not good! This was a fairly expensive gift and I have owned it for less than 2 weeks and it is useless to me now. I’m now back to smoking 2 packs a day and pissed that my Mother paid $80 some dollars on your products. (Between the pack and the extra cartridges.) I have no receipt because it was in fact a Christmas gift. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

  4. My Blu pack and one of the batteries no longer works not sure what happened. I went to change out the batery and the tip turned orange and started to smoke so I unpluged it. Not sure if this is what you mean by overchargeing or not if so please email me with info on replacements

  5. My first charger pack was defective. I returned it, and you replaced it. This new pack worked for a short time, then died (no lights at all regardless of whether USB plug is in). The pack doesn’t charge, so the batteries don’t charge, so I can no longer use the product. You have (had) my proof of purchase; I submitted it on the first go-round. I’d like my money back. Although I like the blu taste and the smoking experience, the tech aspect of the product is horrible.

  6. Ya I’ve had problems with Blu Cigs also. Check out http://www.eversmoke.com
